Widespread Faucet Spacing: How to Measure Your Vanity

Measure widespread faucet spacing by checking hole centers, countertop thickness, basin position and handle clearance before selecting a vanity faucet.

Widespread faucets use separate hot, cold and spout components, so the vanity’s drilling pattern must work with the exact fixture. Hole count alone is not sufficient: measure the center-to-center spacing and surrounding clearance.

What to confirm before ordering

  • Measure from the center of the hot hole to the center of the cold hole.

How to use the plan

Check countertop thickness and hole diameter.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Confirm clearance between handles, backsplash and mirror.

Before work begins

Use the specification for the exact Brassty fixture as the final reference. Confirm plumbing compatibility, finished dimensions and local requirements with a qualified installer before walls are closed or finished surfaces are altered.
